Well, it was cold!
Really cold this year. And that can be a good thing for our dear friend Mother Nature.
She, like all of us, seems to flourish and find strength when the going gets a little difficult.
Chip and I have always loved the drama of the Seasons. They are full of new beginnings, hope and joy. Gives us all good things to look forward to.
New adventures to embrace.
Winding roads to discover.
Wherever will they take us?
As long as there is a snack and a glass of wine at the end of it, I’m in!!
We continue to have new and wonderful guests discover us as well. And they, like all of you always have, bring a fresh dose of excitement to our room.

First fabulous snow hit us in the last week of January.
Chip made lasagna on our Sunday. Caesar salad. Garlic bread. These are comforts from almost all of our childhoods. Never disappoints.

We had the sweetest proposal play out on a Friday night at a corner table. Perfectly romantic. Perfectly planned. And assisted by his friends, showing up in time to snap pictures and present a gift. Heartwarming. We were honored to be a part of their floating on clouds moment.
